Bunnings prepares to go online

Australian home improvement brand Bunnings, which recently opened its
first UK store, is set to launch an online shop – within the next 18
months.

The Wesfarmers-owned company broke into the British market with a Bunnings Warehouse in St Albans in February, with more than 30,000 home and garden-related products on offer.

Currently there is no online shop availaible in the UK or Australia but that is something that will soon change, at least here in Britain.

According to reports, UK managing director PJ Davis said: “Digital engagement is very important in the UK. We’ll have a transactional website within 18 months.”
