    the wiring from my old hob is to big to fit into the connectors of my new one. Do i just squeeze them in by trimming them down

    stil struggling with my hob

    my old hob had two really thick cooker like wires (about six strands each) and an earth, connected by big bolt like connectors. My new hob has tree live two neutrals and one earth connectors. The old wires do not fit. is there some sort of step down box or connector i need??

    fitting electric hob

    i just got a belling electirc hob and was going to fit it my self, i assume the wire from the old one will just fit into the new one. Is this a safe assumption?? there does not seem to be a great deal in the way of instructions.

    when you fix the water pipe to the fridge is there a special connector/adapter that fits on to the cold water pipe, if so where can you get one?
