    I want to install a light in my shed. Can I take a fused spur from an existing 13amp socket to feed the light? Do you get a 3amp fused spur or are the 3/5/13 amp fuses interchangeable in spur sockets?

    Fault in house wiring?

    Consumer unit trips out couple of times a day. Electric company say everything on their side is ok & they won't come back. Got a spark in, he checked consumer unit & said nothing slack. He was only away half an hour & it tripped again. I'm at my wits end.

    Torpedo switch for TV

    Could I safely use an in-line 3 core 6amp torpedo switch on the 2 core cable of a small tv, the tv plug has a 3amp fuse fitted. The plug is behind a sideboard & it is a hassle having to pull the sideboard in & out to switch the tv off. The switch on the tv only puts it into standby.
