Weren't both planes completely "absorbed" as it were by the WTC towers - i.e it didn't come out of the other side and I presume disintegrated pretty well. The other pictures where there were remnants were of normal planes crashes - i.e. accidents where I presume that the pilots did as much as they could to lessen the impacts. With all these I guess the planes were at full tilt going towards their targets. Not saying it couldn't have been a missile/smaller jet, but comparing the Pentagon scene with those others isn't really like for like.
What wouldn't surpise me though is the one they say the passengers took down - well it wouldn't have been too hard to "manage" that one so it didn't hit anything too important / densley populated on the ground.

Not at full tilt - no need -- large engine portions made it through and onto surrounding streets... I bet a rotor-disc or two would have come 'tight' had it nudged a human being or three.
BTW When a fighter 'escorts' a plane to a landing site ... Would he shoot the thing down - over say, London?? Answer 'yes !' The rogue plane may target Parliament or Buck house, so a few hundred or so plebs do not matter in the grand scheme of things.
We, as a community have just put the 'arm' on Bristol Inter', incoming aircraft no longer descend over us onto finals.. Near important city you see !!

Now that I've been having a good old search about on the webbly regarding the Building 7 conspiracy, apparently the Pentagon Plane conspiracy is seen by the conspiracy fraternity as a lazy fake (and easily debunked) conspiracy by the White House to make it look as if all the conspiracy theories are crazy......
and we never went to the moon, the ball never crossed the line in 1966, there was a line of snipers from the fbi and cia behind the grassy knoll, mi5 killed diana, aliens landed in roswell etc etc etc
but i tell you one thing i dont believe whilst were on about conspiricies and thats that the guy at the centre of the wmd business (name escapes me at the moment) killed himself
