baxi hot water

hi guys could any 1 tell me why a baxi duotec 24 would go nuts when i turn on hot water ? it goes hot then cold then hot and cold again !!! boiler is 1 year old and the heating side of things is fine ! please help guys im just trying to give my gas fitter the heads up to save some £££ you know how it is

it means the heat exchanger that heats your hot water is full of

that wasn't cleaned out when the boiler was fitted

is this easy to fix ? or are new parts required? im talking about cost here !!!

if its 1 yr old then you should be under warranty as long as your installer has registered the blr and filled in the commissioning details.

As you have'nt gone down the road of contacting baxi I'm thinking dodgy install?!

depending on your system

dose of DS40 for a day and keep running the hot water
or remove the plate and replace/soak it

or X800 and leave it in a week or so

drain fill run
again
and again
