Just shy of 4 hours to London from leeds isn't it? Could be on site for half eight, you'd be back in the van before noon with just a lesuirely drive home in the afternoon
Used to commute London but I'm getting too old for it these days! Anything over 3 hours I like to drive down the night before and be well rested for the days work ahead

Well was in the area so popped round too have a look, 2L2.5 cable was less than 200 mm long and in tight corner, meggar showed cores to copper sheaving, down to about 5 megohms, stripped about 50 mill off and read over 100 meg, however other end found too be just pushed into a 20mm hole in a new plastic dist board, thus had no earth and was still connected to a 16amp mcb via the rcd of a split load board.
Anyway glanded into galv box, for OP to get extended or whatever, earthing nuts fitted both ends with flylead to the DB earth bar.
