hotpoint noisy bearing

hi folks, ive got a hotpoint aquarius wma30, bearing has went dry through sitting for a period of time, the machine functions fine other than the unbearable noise from the bearing, are parts readily avaialable, if so who and where, and on a scale of one to ten how difficult is it and should i be aware of anything before starting the job, skilled motorcycle mechanic and have mechatronics experience, any info greatly appreciated

The WMA machines do have this problem with the bearings.

The job as a reasonably skilled DIYer will take you about 2 hours depending on how bad they are.

You should also change the drum spider at the same time, ensure that any replacement bearings you look to buy have the Rubina seal as this was the modified one that Hotpoint started to fit to the drums when the machines started to fail (sometimes at only a few months old)

Difficulty about 6 if the bearings are not to bad, if they are really bad then can be a 9 or 10 as you will not be able to get the old bearing outer shells out.
