Hi all,
have just bought some led garden lights. there is a transformer about 10m of cable before the first light then 1m of cable between the 1st and 2nd and 2nd and 3rd.

From reading on here i understand that cable length is fairly critical in low voltage lighting.

but.............

....... could i shorten the 10m cable by say 2m and extend the cable between 1st and 2nd and 2nd and 3rd by 1m each
the overall cable length will still be the same so will it have no (or little effect)

obviously i need to make sure the connections are safe and waterproof but, at the moment , i am curious what (if any) effect will be the result

cheers all

andy

being as they re LEDs you can add what cable you like, it wont matter (that much)
