potterton boiler not working

hi i am new to forum i have a problem with my boiler potterton profile 80 boiler will not light up there is a noise that sounds like fan is spinning for about 5 seconds then stops and trys again and again but will not fire
can any one give me some advise please

your problem is normally caused by a faulty PCB.

i changed pcb about 7/8months ago is it norm for them to go so quick

Was it a proper brand new PCB?

They rarely fail at less than 5-6 years!

Yes if it was a recon or from ebay
