Hi,

We have a gravity fed shower that has a "Showerforce Turbo 2" pump in the loft that's providing more pressure.

Recently we've found that either the pump won't turn on straight away or after a while the pressure drops so much that the water trickles out. When the lattter happens the pump is still making a noise.

The shower has a thermostatic mixer/ diverter and if we turn it so the bath water comes on it usually sorts it. However we don't really want to have to do that everytime we have a shower !

If anyone could provide any ideas (layman's terms would be good!!) before I have to call a plumber in I'd appreciate it.

Thanks

hi, you may want to check the pump is installed correctly, incorrect installation of the pump maybe causing air to be sucked in, it will reduce the amount of water that the pump can circulate. check where the hot water pipe has been taken off the cylinder with the instructions or pictures of installation may help, may be better to have a plumber check it.

cheers Jimi x
