Relative has expressed interest in Clipsal IP66 (rotary) switched sockets, reason being...

- Switch is external (not under a flap)
- Switch is big & rotary
- Switch is wet finger proof
- Switch is usable with curled-in-fingers (can't recall medical term)
- Switch is accessible without fighting Masterseal lid (2G Sw Skt is a pig)

Two needed - one for a plug-in light, one for plug-in heater.
The screw-in plug, whilst expensive, is handy re secure semi-fixed.

Those switches are SINGLE-pole (DP uses a 63mm backbox, beware).

Does anyone see a problem with that?

Supply is not TT, however even if it were to become TT someday that would only require the head-end isolator to be DP (and not every socket).

Single pole - no problem at all. The majority of RCBOs and MCBs are single pole anyway.

Converting a TNS or TNCS supply to a TT one is not too likely either!
