Have checked the GOV website, but not sure.

Do you need the first two jabs or 2+ booster as a minimum?

Also, youngest is off to Spain on 13th.

Despite us telling him for the past few months he needs to get his second jab, he has failed to do so. Now it's too late and he needs to get a negative test.

Grrrr! Teenagers always think they know better than their folks.

You need nothing.

And your son certainly doesn't need to get any injections he doesn't want to get.

If he's old enough to go to Spain he's old enough to decide for himself whether he wants a jab or not, not being told what to do by you!

And teenagers do indeed sometimes know better than certain older folk, as they often haven't lost the ability to question - something which many wrinklies seem to have allowed to fall by the wayside!

above 18 years old if double jabbed or single dose vaccine last jab has to be less than 270 days ago no expiry date if you have had booster
Un jabbed or out of date vaccine then antigen test within 24 hours of flight departure or pcr within 72 hours .

So much for the doom mongers in here that said the un jabbed would never get on holiday abroad again £13.50 extra to get away without having been a sheep .

My youngest only had the one jab. He ended up having to get a PCR test done 48 hrs before flight etc.

Unless he's highly educated and a doctor. In that case, your parents will decide which country you are moving to. ;)

What does he need, then?
Because you sure as hell can't waltz onto the plane with nothing.

This bit I don't understand.
You can get on the plane, potentially with COVID, but have to get a PCR test done within 24 hours of getting on the plane?

How is this enforced?

Can you get a test done at the airport? Where do you get it done for £13.50?

It makes sense to require the test before boarding.

As always, it doesn't take much, but I'm confused!

you cant get on the plane to spain without a negative test result that either gets sent to your phone or you print it off that you have to show before boarding plane
Antigen test when booked with this company through TUI is 13.50 .
the kits have barcodes that you take a pic of and upload to the site along with photo of passport and passport details
Also travel insurance make sure he has covid cover that way if he tests positive he is covered and yes there is testing sites at airports but costs a lot more .
im going sunday my antigen test from above company came through yesterday(has to be ordered at least 5 days before) i used them couple of months ago and its very straight forward

A negative test is less invasive than a potentially lethal injection.
