Intermediate light switch

Hi

I have an intermediate light switch which I want to use as a simple 1 way light switch. The switch has 4 terminals, labelled 1 to 4.

How would I wire the switch to operate as a 1 way 'normal' switch?

Thanks. That shows the intermediate switch as 2 x L1 and 2 X L2.
Switch I have is labelled L1 through to L4.

Does it matter which way around the live and switched live goes?

Follow the pattern rather than the numbers.

As per intermediate switch used as one way.
