No i made a post earlier in the day about CU and got a clever reply and it developped into an argument, now it`s gone

yes, thats the way it goes, the forum rules do say something like unhelpfull posts are not welome. its best to ignore posts to which you think the poster is a &**%$#

I didn't see what happened after my 2nd post in it, but up to then, including Filo's 1st reply complaining at me, nothing had happened which merited the topic being removed.

So if Filo got out of order, he was responsible for the loss of his own topic, but if any hijacking took place after I made my 2nd post it was nothing to do with me.

I'd be interested to know what did happen, if anybody was around at the time and can summarise what they remember, as it'd be a poor show if we felt unable to give advice which might not what be the questioner wanted to hear for fear of things getting out of hand....

The mods will edit/delete posts as they see fit, usually for good reason though.
I notice that BAS had one deleted a couple of days ago.

Don't remember that - what did I say in it??? I'm not saying "oh no I didn't" just that I don't recall. Was it because of what I'd written in it, or was it because another post to which it had been a reply had been removed?
