Re: traction control light
Why did you change it? Coding should have been done at the same time. Traction control relies on ABS system so goes back to original question, why was it changed as the fault might lie there.

Re: Whistling 206
Yes, but to a certain extent you are then releasing the load. As it gets more worn you will probaly hear it when depressing the clutch. The only other noise I've had possibly related was the waterpump. Mileage is too low to rule out the box. If you w...

Re: Chrysler Voyager Clutch problem
Well if you've already replaced the car then sell as is. No point in spending out additional. Someone will take it. However adjust your asking price from a runner to that of a runner less the cost of the parts only. The labour figure is an unknown va...

Re: Whistling 206
Forgot to add, as you describe, early on you can only hear it under load but believe me, this will change to the extent you hear it all the time above 25mph and it will drive you nuts!!!!!!!! Done a lot of research into this and if you get the right ...

Re: Whistling 206
On the face of it, it should be covered however the problem is going to be actually isolating it to prove it out. The dealers could hear something but not pin point anything. The noise is like a whistle which only becomes apparent over thirty and whe...

Re: Chrysler Voyager Clutch problem
Well what you need to think about is how much it would cost you to get an equivalent vehicle you like. You know all the ins and outs of this one. I would start by finding a clutch kit.Try unipart centres previousoly partco to see what they come up wi...

Re: Help with a Problem Mercedes Please....
Firstly you need to look at the symptoms surrounding the issue. I take it, it was fine before the holiday? For black smoke to appear would indicate over fueling. Then the fact it was left for 2.5 weeks standing. On a diesel, coughing and spluttering ...

Re: Chrysler Voyager Clutch problem
Sounds like the plate has gone. Would think hydraulics are sound. However, at 180K miles you can't argue that you haven't had your money's worth!!!

Re: Whistling 206
I think I know what this is. I reckon it's the same box as my Saxo VTR which had the same problem, finally diagnosed at 98,000 miles as the diff pinion bearing which is apparently common. I think they share the same box. I complained about it from th...

Re: Tracking
This doesn't sound like a tracking or pressure issue at all. It's all pointing to excessive positive camber. You need a full geometry check. Other issues known to cause the problem are worn strut top mounts, unlikely in this case given the mileage an...
