Refitting a radiator

Just a quick note to all 'budding' plumbers who think we earn a small fortune for doing an easy job that can learned in a matter of weeks.

In fact, Id like anyone that falls into that category to give the answers to explain how they would complete this job. Its simple really.

1: Replace existing rad in bathroom with new TRV
2: Exsiting rad tail cannot be removed, and shatters under heat.
3: Rad wont fill.

Your criteria... old rad used, and was still out in an hour.

Come on newbies.... enlighten me.

14 mins in, they are working it out dave

;)

Haha.

I like the cut of your jib CLF.

I know all decent plumbers are champing at the bit to give me the answers, but our job 'aint a trade' by recent comments so I want them to come foward and prove why its not.

No books will help on this one will they! :D

Still no contenders.

Thought our trade was 'no longer a trade'. Surely it must be easy for you? C'mon..... plumbing can be done by the diy'er. DIY this one.

professional expertise comes at ANY price you want to submit.
too cheap gets the worst contacts.
medium price gets feck all work.
highest price.well you have won.
so always go for the highest price as you have highest experience.
good luck.

Well, after 24 hours (and posting a very realistic DIY job that could cause problems) our know-all DIY'ers / budding plumbers have came up with not one single answer.

Well done

Next time your trying to be clever because you have banged a few push fits together, remember this post.
