Alpha CB50 Boiler exploded today

Yes, but if that is what it takes to get good service for my customers I can live with that. I am a dinosaur and expect nothing but the best in after care service.

That is why I have the arrangement that my mate who is the Vaillant agent, should get the very few warranty calls I place

I'm disappointed in the fact that they cannot say such things to my face though, as I live by the motto a spades a spade. ;)

I personally have never worked in your area, there is a good agent there (old school Vaillant) who is well known.

Yes that is my mate. A legend amongst the Vaillant empire, but only does Vaillants.

I know of him but do not know him personally, there are very few agents left nowadays and all engineers are expected to work on all brands within the group now.

The reason i left is because it had become a different company from the one i had originally joined . And had started to dumb down with the likes of yourself who where pretend engineers doing a basic apprenticeship.
I now work when i want and make a lot more money without the hassle of trying to cover up the mistakes made by the likes of yourself.

One of the best vaillant engineers is a guy who lives not to far from you name Ian Rice .

Dave why not challenge that guy who has called you a #### by phoning him and saying the Gloworm guy from east hunsbury says you have publicly said you think i am a #### would you like to back that up

say what you like I couldn't give a ****. Now you mention it namsag I have been to some of your shoddy installations and corrected installation faults and I know Ian Rice very well. ;)

I have also heard bad things about you namsag you **** and know where you live. (crap house for someone who claims to be so wealthy)

I have done some research on you and it has proved very fruitfull.

HA HA what a tw#t can you explain why you have been to my installations
This should be interesting

No come on explain yourself or just look a bigger fool than you normally do.

The huge number of colleages based in tows surrounded by villages who don't have lpg are winging it. Sure they go to lpg jobs.

dont see the point. VO it and move on to the next job.

No I don't mean bg people talking about private gas fitters now. Basically everyone in our area turns up at lpg jobs but hardly anyone has lpg. like you say it's unavoidable to come across it.

OP must be distraught by now girls.

Anyway OP if you are reading, though I am sure the Bg contract is working well for you, if I owned a CB50 and couldn't fix it myself I would have an Alpha service contract. Not sure what they charge these days, but their guys would have every conceivable part for that boiler on the van fix it first visit. (except the expansion vessel that would be ordered to arrive next day same as BG, but all other parts including TPR valve which you may well require is van stock) If however you require the full cover of BG type contract then i am sure that is best for you.

Though you will find the recommendations about particular boilers on here highly tribal puffed out chest affairs, that is a good design of boiler. The faults you have had could as easily have happened to any other make.

I have no connection with Alpha but used to repair their boilers on their behalf so know first hand which ones are faulty and where the faults lie. Yours is one of the most reliable Alphas, and performance speaks for itself.

I have been to your jobs (blocked plates under warranty due to lack of proper flushing for example) and the quality of the installation was below average. I have enquired about you to various people who have said you are a "know it all ****" and a failed college lecturer. People I know locally have said you were an outcast at BG and a loner. There is plenty, plenty more but I have to go out now. ;)

I agree Paul an alpha contract is far better than ****ish gas who employ ****wits like thickso. Look what a balls up they made of this job.

Paul Barker is right in that an engineer qualified with unvented is highly sort after in some areas, but then again Paul is honest. Thickso is dillusional and still thinks bg do a good job despite the fact they are largely ex double glazing salesmen trained to use a telegan and nothing else. The company is run by muppets with clowns for engineers. Wake up thickso and smell the coffee.

you are the dishonest one louse. if you were being honest you would admit the majority of BG engineers are good workers with good knowledge let down by morons like you, that i would love to see kicked out. for some reason they continually get away with it.

we have both agreed before that BG management are useless, thats not news.

let me edit that for you.[/b]
