At least you won't have to mow the lawn when you have a heatline installed.

Heatlines seem to be rather prone to this.

Not at all! Very nice boilers and sold cheaply.

Its the installers who are prone to not cleaning the system! Not prone to being gas registered either!

That's what I mean Tony; heatline; the cowboy's choice. Never seen one that was installed properly.

right, where to start......
had a heatline c24 fitted almost 2 year back, so still got a couple of week left on warranty. Was fitted by a corgi registered plumber.
the heating SEEMS to work fine, but it could be that its not efficient as its supposed to be.
its the hot water thats also causing me a problem, some days it will take a good minute or so before the hot water kicks in, but yet if the washing machine or dishwasher is on it kicks in straight away as it should.
i cant run a bath because it doesnt stay on for long enough.
i got the plumber who installed it back and he has told me its because of the copper piping running under the floorboards upstairs, and that they need replacing because they are only 15mm. but then when i have spoke to another plumber about it, he said yes they should be 15mm BUT it still should work fine with them. the actual pipe running into the boiler though is 22mm.

when i turn the central heating on, the temperatue lights light up one by one... 40, 50, 60, 70 etc, but then when it gets to 80 it seems to knock off and go back down to 0. then kick in again.

at the moment i am in the middle of having a new bathroom fitted so i really need to get to the bottom of this problem without any hefty charges that dont solve the problem! is this something warranty may cover? again i dont want to ring up and then end up being charged for a call out because its not something thats covered.

If it's under warranty then call Heatline in.

As far as I know they are OK, at least they have cleared up most of my appalling messes whilst the sound of my spurs are still jangling in the customers ears

just been messing with the boiler and the radiators do shut off aswell, just didnt really notice because they are constantly on and off.

It probably needs a couple of new sensors amd the burner pressures setting up.

both the water and radiator temperature gauges are on full from the outside. and just to add, its been like this since its been installed and not just a recent thing. so could it have needed new sensors from new?

hi peeps
(Bit of a thread hijack)

I have just signed up to the forum..with a c24 heatline prob, straight away someone seems to have similar issue..

I have hot cold hot water at durations of 20 secs!! ish

so far with advice from engineer and heatline..we thought it was secondary heater exchange blockage,(after allready changing water sensor)

enginner took out c.h sensor and water works fine on low heat (will cut out if run too hot)

we changed that sensor...no joy..changed heater exchanger..no joy..back to square 1 and a lot of cash later still intermittent hot water... at present heatline have sad, defo a flow problem.poss clean out main exchanger..!!!

Are they wrong again.. £££ racking up and i can only go a little further befor it will be poss time for new boiler which i dont wont.(4 yrs old max)

It does look like a flow prob for shure..
or could it be pcb!!!

oh dear, browsed a few websites now and this seems to be a common fault with the c24s! but not managed to find a definite soloution.
