Too much pressure

Hi. I've got a Worcester 24Si II series combi. The pressure keeps building. I drain it back to 1 bar when it reaches 2bar but within 2 days it's back to 2 bar again! Any ideas or solutions welcome

technically it should be impossible for a fill loop to pass as it shouldnt be connected when not in use

can you explain how the mnufacturers who provide built in filling loops manage to get them approved

ahh I never said its impossible i said TECHNICALLY so im not saying it is impossible bylaws state the fill loop should be removed as to stop water contamination etc but as you have pointed this out its not true i dont know how they do it but the word technically

A WB boiler will not work if you don't take the charging key out.

but boilers with built in fill loop (vaillant) cant be disconected

worcester has charging key so thats the same as removing fill loop so it cant pass

A dozen? Were you in the trade for 120 years?

Have you disconnected the filling loop (or removed the key)?

If so, it's likely that you have a perforated DHW heat exchanger.
