As usual, I'm late to the forum - about 5 years late as it happens (see glennm58, posted 2005). My Camray was diagnosed as having no baffles, thanks to the service engineer removing and throwing them, only last week. Did anyone find the dimensions and manage to manufacture some replacements? I'd be grateful to know.

Thanks

Loads of Camray baffles around like there are loads of Camray boilers! It's not a one size fits all situation.

What actual model is yours plus rating?

Mine is a floor-standing 130,000 BThU Camray 3, 90/130 model. Is that useful?
What might be even more useful to you could be the fact that I am pretty sure that sitting in my workshop is a set of baffles for a Camray3 and they could well be for the 90/130!!

Can you measure the inside of your combustion chamber and post measurements?

Camray 3 = no parts availible, however we used a local engineering company to laser cut and make up a set of baffles for a Camray 2 last year he charged us about £50 inc materials, so it might be worth looking for such an engineering Co near you

That's fantastic news, AlanE! The dimensions of the chamber are 317mm x 385mm approx, and the lowest of the baffles I believe had an insulating layer on it, which should further assist in its identification.

Thank you both very much for your help, even if the baffles in your workshop are not the right ones - you've been extremely helpful.

How do we make contact - via email?[/quote]
