Am i the only person on the planet who thinks Brown is OK?

I think Gordon Brown has done OK as chancellor, Tony blair on the other hand is a lair and a traitor to his country, but back to Brown what evidence is there that he is responsible for our countries economic predicament, it wasn't Brown who caused the banks to go into financial meltdown, i thought that was kicked off by the yanks and their sub prime shenanigans.

As for other issues like immigration and crime, what has that got to with Brown? wasn't it phoney Blair who agreed to let this country be flooded by the new accession states, he also signed up to the hum,an rights act, he then went on to lie though his teeth to get us into the Iraq war just to ingratiate himself with that dyslexic dolt George wa*ker bush and when realised the scale of the damage that he had caused he ran away and left Brown to carry the can.

The way I see it and compare it would be you're the boss ie the name on a credit card the wife or partner is your chancellor she is sanctioning all the spending and borrowing you think every things alright cause they can be trusted and in the mean time the debt is being racked up and every things hunky dory but then the s**t hits, you go but the debt is still in your name but your chancellor then blames every one else for letting her run up the debt and she will promise her next partner(the electorate) every thing will be alright cause I broke it and obviously know how to fix it.

He was party to the decision to illegally attack Iraq and murder 1000's of innocent people.

Blair and Brown are walking talking adverts for al quaeda, they have created unforgetable hatred in the minds of millions people. And the population of this country and our troops will be paying in blood for many many years.

Good point, but if the so-called financial masterminds who run the global enconomy and i include the then head of the federal reserve in America didn't see it coming either, how was Brown who is a minor figure in world terms supposed to see it.

Well one would hope that being in charge(supposedly)of our money that they would have some inkling of what is happening in the finacial world after all that is their job,and if they really are blind to world events then what is the justification of having such positions.

You say Brown inherited the problems of immigration etc etc,,,, But he was the one in a position to change immigration policy yet stood back and did nothing. He and his cronies in the Labour Party have lost touch with the working man. We now have Mandelson,, (thrown out of parliament twice for his shenanigans), back as business secretary. Totally unelected. Why do we bother calling ourselves a democracy when MP's ride roughshod over the electorate??
Labour were voted into power , in part based on the fact that they'd give us a vote on Europe. Did we get one?? Oh no we were promised a referendum on a treaty but the wording was changed so it became an accord (same difference though)
Even the Irish voted against it but were then persuaded to vote again. Had the second vote been a resounding NO they would have had another vote and another, until the EU got the yes they wanted all along..
Tony Blair said before one election that he wanted to change the face of Britain beyond all recognition...
He certainly has done that !!!!!

Gordan knows is haven't got a chance of winning the election so he carrying on by borrowing as fast as he can to make it hell for the next government. If you look at all the last Labour government, they bankrupt the UK. Harold Wilson jumped ship just like Blair did.

IMO Brown is not doing okay, Blair is even worse

our country is a member of the g8 which has a strong bearing on economic planning. he was chancellor. Many other countries have fared better or recovered quicker. we are in a mess because no planning for the future was made. whose fault is that?

he has been in power for 2 1/2 years. he has a majority in parliament and yet what has he done to sort any of the inherited problems out?
I always think its a poor excuse for any politician to turn around and blame the previous government after they've been in power for a long time and could have changed things.
