I don't know if the vertical fins have water in them or not. If they do, the output could be quite high.
Wondering what current type would have a similar heat output.

These rads are from late 60's early 70's can't remember the make. The fins have no waterways and outputs are quite low compared to modern because of flat panels.

Easiest just to replace it with a similar length P+ or K2 who's output will be greater, and fit trv. You will need the tail extensions as existing will be imperial sized.

That's a very heavy steel Radiator Manufactured by Hudevad, they were very popular in commercial installations because they could withstand a nuclear blast They are still made today as far as i know, as an M&E Co I used to work for were specifying them when I left in 2003!!

That is exactly what they are i just couldn't remember the name. Fitted on many commercial jobs as an alternative to cast iron columns for the above reasons. Not so many fitted domestic.
Didn't know they still made them.

these rads are hudevad and you can still buy them new from simply radiators
the fins do carry water
the rads have max pressure of 10 bar and max working pressure of approx 7.5 bar
they have the same output as a similar barlo
the fins allow passage of water from back to front

Similar output to a single convector then? No wonder the house is cold... ;)

Thanks guys.
