Migrating CH Additives

Hi to all,

I privately rent, and have a issue with disappearing hot water from immersion tank, which is another issue. However, there is a theory of water from the heating (oil) coil migrating into the immersion tank water for bathing / washing up etc. The plumber has said this isn't too clever, however I am worried on how much "not too clever" it is. COSHH etc

I would appreciate any thoughts.

I'm pretty sure COSHH does cover more than the ingestible Hazards.
