Replacement Shower Required

Thanks seco services i will take a look :) One other question is that i notice my existing shower is wired in 1.5mm mains flex is this ok? Also is my existing shower a power shower?

looks like the 1999 model of the manual power shower.
yes 1.5mm is ok as they useally only need a 3amp fused spur.

Thanks for putting my mind at ease seco. I only asked about the cable as my parents have had a new shower and were told they needed a very thick cable wired back to the fuse board. I think there shower is an electric shower as they have a combi boiler. There new shower only trickles at best though.

electric showers need a large cable as they run straight from the consumer unit and are high kw 8.5 etc.
yours don't heat water that'll come from your hw cylinder only needs power to run the pump etc.
thats why you have 2 inlets not one straight from the mains cold.

and the elecy.
pretty straight foreward slide the 2 inlets out, slide the new one on.
connect the elecy and commission the shower.
