Hi,

it's the pipe that feed the hot water tap. Dripping steadily.

It is where the t-junction is. Can I easily fix this myself? Money is tight and I want to avoid calling a plumber if possible.

thanks,

Steven

PS please note pic is rotated 90 degrees

Your best bet, cut the pipe just below the leaking fitting. Buy speedfit/pushfit Tee-Junction and simply push the pipework into it, This is a more permanent fit.

Of you could try LSX leak seal, although this will cost you a tenner or so, whereas a pushfit fitting will cost you £3. Or you could call me out and i'll do it for you for £20 :)

silly q but how do you get the paint of the pipes? I've tried using a blow torch in the past with no luck.

Thanks for all replies folks.

Fortunately, and old friend who is a plumber took care of it for me.

cheers
