Hi folks,

Since my old washer dryer has broken and seems to be un-repairable I'm looking for some advice on a new one.

Due to money I'm going to buy a cheap washer and forget the dryer.

It needs to be silver, standard size and as cheap as possible.

1) Does anyone have any recommendations?

2) If I get one delivered is it fairly easy to swap them over myself?

3) Is there anything I can do with the old one? I don't drive, so it has to be picked up but I wondered if it was worth anything for parts or scrap.

Cheers

Oh yes, it has to be silver.

A white one would look ridiculous next to a silver dishwasher and fridge.

I'm afraid aesthetics are important in the kitchen. :)

Oh, and thanks tonto once again.

I was looking at that machine. It's very cheap and basic, probably noisey too, but the reviews seem good for the price.

Cheers

Well, I've the bought Beko.

I found it slightly cheaper elsewhere and Comet couldn't deliver till 6th October.

We're getting it on Mon morning so we won't even have to go to the laundrette. Which we were told was £11  spent it on a faster deivery instead :)

Thanks for all your help Tonto.

:D
