Hi can anyone help me please? i have a British gas 330 boiler installed in 2005 and it has stopped working. It is showing fault code f 10, when i try to reset it by switching it off and on there is a whirling noise from what sounds like a fan or motor only for a couple of seconds then it dies down and fault code f 10 reappears, can anyone help me please as this quite a needy time for the heating, many thanks

Unfortunately these BG boilers are rebadged units made by manufacturers like Ideal etc.

I dont know exactly which model yours is but you should have the service manual for the boiler left at the property by the installer.

In any case anything to do with the fan will need a registered gas engineer to deal with it.

The 330 is glowworm 30hxi.

BG havent had a branded ideal since the classic RD1.

Wasn't there an RD330 with the three sensors on one plug which was a rebranded ideal?
