Can any body help, i have just replaced a very old danfoss room thermostat (it worked OK but the turn dial was a bit dodgy), it had wires, live, nuetral and earth, the new one is a danfoss REP230 it uses no earth, so just connected in the nuetral and live and put a link wire from live to com 3 as per danfoss instructions, the thermostat clicks as it recognises the tempreture but does not switch the boiler on or off as the old one did. any answers please ???

Wire colours do not mean anything! All you can say is it had three wires: red/brown; black/blue and green/yellow.

We need to know which terminals they connected to on the old stat.

What is the model of the old thermostat?

Sorry the old stat had no model number (it was very old), I will check which terminals the old one was wired to and update....Thanks
