stripped wooden doors

Hi,
What do I do with doors that have been stripped and are now in awful condition? The guy from the company who stripped them rehung them damp and got miffed when I questioned their condition. As they had been paid they left and I wouldn't want them back. One door is furry looking, two have large flaking areas, some of the panels are curving outwards and all of them are dry looking. Is there anything I can do to help get them back in condition or are they ruined?

It is a bit of a risk you take, I've found. When I had some done for a punter the grain was stood on end and the whole door looked like it had spent some time in Beirut.....it wasn't warped though.
Maybe there's a gentle and an agressive stripping procedure but I don't think I'd have them done again.

Once the doors have dried out thoroughly, take them off and give them a good sanding, then apply your finish of choice - how were you intending to finish them, varnish, or wax? You haven't said what kind of wood they are.
