look guys all I want to know is what is an Ir test?I have never used it in my life is it some kind of test on a motor?

And please go back to the Jobcentre & the college and tell them that you don't want to do that course after all.

From what I have seen so far, it appears as though you don't seem to even have the ability to use the 'reply' button when making posts here, so the ability to interpret the results of any testing is probably way beyond your level
Why don't you go find a window cleaning or litter picking forum and ask questions there? -you might find your true vocation, troll

I don't understand how you've been laid off working as an electrician, yet you've never done an IR test? You have to do at least 2 to pass the 2330. I don't know what the requirements are for 5-day/4-week wonders to pass their course but I would have thought you'd have to know the basics of testing.
I also don't understand why you're so intent on doing the 2391. You clearly have zero experience testing electrical installations, you can barely string a sentence together and I'm guessing you'd have no idea if anyone asked you about even basic regulations. You do realise the 2382 is usually a prerequisite to the 2391?
For the third time, get yourself a copy of BS7671:2008, as well as Guidance Note 3, and find someone who is willing to show you the ropes - paid or otherwise. If you posted in plain English, possibly followed up your threads instead of making new ones all the time, then we might be more willing to help!

You are an ignorant and incompetent fool - for your own sake (because it will be a pointless waste of your time with no beneficial outcome), and for the sake of everybody else on the course who will not appreciate their learning being held back by the lecturer having to try and deal with someone as useless as you please give up all your delusional ideas about doing this course.
