Just got a new paddle mixer and i am mixing impreso print which is a cement plaster for using with
Mats or rollers !!!!! First few mixers where ok but now every bucket is coming out full of air bubbles
Which is driving me nuts !!!! as you don’t know until you have just spread the wall
Is there any tips on mixing with a paddle
Cheers

Might be an idea to mix your gear slowly and see how it turns out, you might be whipping too much air into it...

i enjoyed watching that it was very interesting it looks like you can mimmick any brick block or stonewith it, are you using it in the same way?

Another one you might like

This stuff is fantastic the things you can do with it as you will see on the video
the biggest problem i think would be getting it in the UK ???
they might do an alternative there ?? Don’t know why they don’t stock this stuff in the UK
As i can’t see frost having an effect on it as it’s like steel when it goes off ?? Makes sand and cement
A thing of the past !!!!! there again could be wrong
i live in Spain, and the selection of cement based materials is great.

I'm not a fan of this sort of thing myself, things trying to look like something that they're not. Think mock tudor vulgarity in footballer's wive's suburbia. [/shudders].... After all, think how much we all used to love those lovely swirly artex patterns back in the day. Give me a nice flat rubbed up wall anyday.

Everyone to their own m8
If i remember with artex you had
The comb the stipple ether flat swirl or a figure eight the diamond maybe one or two more
Yes artex was horrendous, but this material can be used outside or in mostly outside!! The rollers & mats you can get look brilliant plus there are lots of different ones to choose.
Like you say a flat skimmed wall looks good

mimicking is nothing new keyplayer, just take a look at the old buildings, ashler to look like brick, block or stone, vermiculation, quoin stones, they are old skills that not eveyone can do, lol im a massive fan of this type of work actually, and if i could would rather be doing that than basic float and set, love to do pargeting as well http://www.ianwarrenpargeting.co.uk/portfolio.html this is what im a big fan of ide love to be able to do work like that

and looks great

i would love to have a go at this thats really impressive, connex any chance we could see some pics of the type of work/ pattern you are doin??

No prob lads some pics attached
Pic 1 as you can see the walls are bad so need a good scraping down plus i go over it
with a 9” wizer at a 45% angle to scuff it up a bit, then a good dose of PVA all over then away you go !!! the bags are 25klo . cost £4.50 Up to now must have gone through around 40 plus bags
I have done my house and our the next door neighbours good friends so no charge just paid for the stuff plus got me a new impeso print mat ( £145 not cheap )

Now there is a growing interest for me to do more around the estate !!!! so a bit of advice on pricing would be helpful !!! ( as I’m hopeless at it ) i think am right ?? Please correct me if am wrong, price for rendering £12 per S M ??? what kind of price would you put on this kind of work ???
Cheers Keith
