Tap, tap, tap

Please help me get a decent night's sleep!

My rads and the pipes keep tapping, it comes and goes, sometimes I can hear it downstairs, sometimes it's the rad next to my head in my bedroom!

I have a combi boiler, is there something I can do, and how?

It's either from incorrectly secured/insulated pipework or rads are hung on metal brackets without insulating pieces.......Earplugs

Turn the heating off when you go to bed, mine comes on in morning I dont need an alarm clock. Drives me mad.

It sounds like it's inside the rads, I was thinking there maybe like an air lock in the system?
