tapping rad and noisy pipes

ticking tapping rads and hammering pipes !
every morning at 5 the timer switches on the pump and heating system and off we go. first its a metalic tap tap tap in one bedroom rad then it stops then starts when the pump starts again, also the pipes in the kitchin knock 3 or 4 times loudly. tried bleedng but still the same.
any suggestions as i want to sleep till 7 !

Sounds like thermal expansion. Try putting something soft under whatever the pipes rest on.
