Shower Pump Questions

Hi

After reading the instructions on my shower pump its states that the push flexi hoses should not be bent is this right not even abit.

Can I ask what is the best way to frost proof the shower pump I will be fitting as its going in a loft.

Make/model? Generally speaking you shouldn't insulate pumps as they can overheat when in operation

You should not bend or strain the flexi-hoses, it will stress the connections which can cause them to fail & flood. You should not insulate the pump casing & any enclosure must allow the minimum air circulation recommended by the pump manufacture or the pump will overheat & fail. Why are you putting the pump in the loft? It’s not the best place for it & unless you bought the correct pump & the system is correctly designed, it may not work at all!

I will have to put the pump in the loft due to the pipes for the shower being there also the cylinder the hot water comes from for the shower is in the loft.Also cannot put the pump anywhere else.

we are only here to help mate - but in answer to your question - not please dont put the flexis under any kind of tension and if asking about frost-proofing the pump - dont put it where it can be subjected to frost - you'll be asking for trouble!
