What Do You Use Loctite Pipe Seal Cord On?

Can anyone tell me what situations you would use pipe seal cord on?

Is it in place of PTFE. or does it have different uses?

Can you re-pack tap glands with it, or have I got the wrong end of the stick?

I use it in threaded joints, such as to cylinder irons, radiator tails and the like.

I don't pack glands with it, still use PTFE.

The instructions tell you how many turns to use on different sized threads.

It's good stuff! I recommend it.
