Ghosts and antimatter

Was my post 'flaming'? Or was it meant to be helpful, in my own peculiar way?

"Have I ever lost anything?" Do you really want to know, even if I was prepared to tell you?

Actually, my allusions were meant to be helpful. You just can't see it, perhaps due to your aggression.

I wasn't posturing, see above.

I thought I had something to add, even if you don't like what I've added.

Quoting Latin does not ipso facto make a poster an idiot.

Have you ever lost anything isn't a question that normal people avoid.

You call me aggressive, why? are you shy?

Don't talk bull...what a bizzare posting by you? I think you think big, but talk cheap.

I'm gonna say some serious things now, and I might add some wind up bits. You'll have to decide for yourselves which is which.

Many, many years ago I had a horrible experience which lasted, perhaps less tha a week.
I would put things down, like tools at work, and when I went to pick them up, they weren't there, not where I put/left them. It was a frightening experience. This experience went on for days.
During this time I couldn't wait to get into the pub and down a few beers, to forget, make things more bearable, bring back normality, who knows?

Apparently these experinces can happen due to changes in people's circumstances, lifestyles, etc.
That is genuinely interesting , and an alternative to "supernatural"
.

I remember researching a similar phenomenon many years ago.
People who undertook tasks similar to Quality Control, where they are inspecting items, perhaps going past on a conveyor, (No aeroplanes, pianos or levers  ) experiencing a temporary state of mild psychological instability.
According to industrial psychologists, at the time, this was a normal occurence, brought on by the mind inspecting, and looking for flaws in external items. The mind started turning in on itself, looking for flaws internally, which led to a mild, temporary mental instability.
I say temporary 'cos after a while the symptoms abated, even though the tasks were continued.

And just for MM. who can't tell when it's a wind-up. Yes, MM, this is one.

But apparently, similar symptoms can be experienced by people struggling and failing to find suitable work. It's similar to stress induced by stressful careers.

Micky isnt struggling to find suitable work, he doesn't want to work, he would loose too many perks and free cash if he did.

More ignorance and slurs huh?

Shame, I thought you would have highlighted the mistakes, perhaps you could have used some rouge to do so, or is that rogue?

theres no such thing as ghosts, Ghoulies etc

but there is such a thing as mental incapacity

not sure where Anti matter comes in to the equation

Looks like another thread that's the product of too much special brew.

Were these items lost or pawned down cash converters for the price of a 6 pack?

He may have a point here...while me and my gf was saving up for a house we was renting a flat which was one of four converted from a victorian semi....no probs at all , every morning I used to leave home about 7.30 drop the gf off at work then pick her up on my way home ...then one morning we could not find the keys anywhere had the place upside down draws and cupboads out under bed but could not find them anywhere so we ended up getting taxi,s to work and back..I had no spare car keys and my thoughts was where could they be and getting a new one cut all day..anyhow rang a taxi from work picked her up on the way home and when we arrived in the keys was on the coffee table in the living room , we just looked at each other puzzled and not only that they was right smack bang in the centre of the coffee table with no other objects on it so you could not miss them...no ghost ghoul stories just this wierd experience and I still can not account what happened that day....no stress , no money or personal problems but this happened while 2 of us was there

So it does happen..and I state again, nobody ever lost anything. Then found it in the most unexpected place? Apart from me and the poster? Methinks people tell lies. You look for things then find it in the first place you looked, but look at last, as it couldn't be there.

There is ALWAYS a rational explanation for any thing like this and the human mind has a very powerful subconscious

I have had lots of premonition types of experience and me and my missus when we first started going out had lots of amazing coincidences that seemed to defy common sense.

But I have no doubt that they were just the mind and coincidence at work

The rant of a madman. What have you to add? Nothing. As usual.

This phenomenon is well documented in the good story of :-

The Life of Brian

The Boring Prophet _ Quote :-

There shall in that time be rumours of things going astray. erm, and there shall be great confusion as to where things really are, and nobody will really know where lieth the things with a sort of rafia-work base that has been attached. At that time, a friend shall lose his friends hammer, and the young shall not know where lieth the things possessed by their fathers put there just the night before. about 8 o clock.

Here endeth this lesson.
