Replace Honeywell VC4613 with V4043H wiring question

I'd like to replace the sticking valve - Honeywell VC4613 - with a better V4043H valve, but the wiring colours are slightly different.

Can somebody tell me the corresponding wire colours for each valve please? I'm having trouble finding a full wiring diagram for the VC4613.

The V4043H has a green/yellow earth wire that doesn't match the black of the VC4613 which seems to be a neutral wire! My junction box is a mess, so not easy to follow what's going on.

Is it the actuator thats sticking or the valve? You do know that you can cheaply replace the valve cartridge?

this is the diagram for your valve,there are no colours indicated so you will have to have a multimeter to figure out which wire does what, also the aux switch isint shown but should be fairly obvious which two they are,

what,s wrong with the valve you have ? as already said the heads are available and easier to change than the whole valve.

Thanks. It's definitely the valve itself. The head's been replaced three times! The only way I can get the boiler to stop coming on in the middle of the night is to remove the head and force up the valve then replace the head which tells the boiler to go to sleep... The valve spring isn't strong enough to counteract the fact that the mechanism sticks.

I thought replacing it with something a bit more robust would be better, but the wiring colours don't match and I don't want to get it wrong!

Thanks guys. Problem solved. The wiring in my junction box doesn't seem to follow any conventions, so I traced things with a multi-meter and now it's working. The cowboys who installed the CH should be shot...

By that I assume you had to make alterations to the system.

Or are we talking electrical, which probably had nothing to do with the installer.
