Hello,
Is there device for shutting an electric shower off after an alloted time span (ie. 10 minutes)
My son spends ages on the shower (not sure what he is doing :? ) and I would like to place a timing device to stop the shower somewhere inline?

Cheers

The only such product I've seen is called 'Shower Manager', although I'm not sure if it's available in the UK, and it's designed primarily for fixed showerheads and fits inline with the threaded connection between the head and the outlet.

If you wanted something concealed, it could be achieved with a flow switch, solenoid valve and timer, although whether or not you'd ever repay the money spent in saved water/heating bills is another matter.

Put the isolator switch outside the door and go and kill it after 10mins?

You could adjust it to give him 10 mins for a quid - should be enough for him to finish whatever he's doing.

Find a shower with indirect controls, some sort of logic in them, find a way to cut off the heating but leave the water running.

Or ask around at camping/caravanning sites, or people you know who go to them, as they sometimes have coin/token operated showers that do the same thing - i.e. you can stay in the shower for as long as you like, but only the first x minutes are hot.

TLC according to the image properties, but I doubt they deliver to the Bahamas...

If it's an electric shower, and you're in the house, you could turn off the water at the gate valve feeding it.

The shower should shut off when the pressure gets below a certain point.

I don't think there'd be any safety issues with this solution, unless anyone can correct me?
