Hotpoint WF 541 F12 Fault

Can anyone assist, I've got lights 1 and 2 flashing and when I check other posts the problem is listed as F12 communication error. Can anyone tell me what this is and is it an easy fix?

Unplug it for 5 mins also check connections on pcb. If all that's ok pcb needed.
