Cat 5 cable & terminations

Ihave had cat 5 cable installed in all rooms in a house we are upgrading data outlets in all rooms
what connectors & where can i get them so as to connect to a virgin modem in cellar six cables in all

You'll need crimp tool

And you won't get 6 into a virgin modem, or a virgin Router. You'll need a switch too.

Depending how far you want to go, bringing all the cables, data and telephony, into a 10" patch panel mounted in a 300mm mini data cabinet, along with a switch and the router may be the neatest answer.

Hmmm, thought you liked them previously?

If you don't know exactly what you want and where the best outlets are, Maplin often fit the bill. Deffo not the cheapest but usually one around and accessible.

Your right, I do like them but for components needed. Tools, even a set of crimps are cheap there. As in quality. But I suppose for a one off then you might as well bite the bullet.
