Hi,
I've bought a thermostatic mixer shower which unfortunately comes with rather scant instructions.

I am trying to find the correct fittings.

The trouble is that the inlet for the hot and cold feed are 3/4 BSP and I need 90 deg bends but I cannot find any that go down to 15mm pipe. I am using 15mm pipe as this is what is coming from the combi boiler.

Is it common practice to expand the 15mm hot and cold feed pipes to 22mm just as it reaches the thermostatic valve?????

Or have I missed something a little fundamental here?

Thanks

15mm x 3/4" BSP male elbows are readily available from most merchants. If they don't stock them, they should be able to get them within a couple of days.

Worst case scenario; 15 x 1/2" and 3/4 x 1/2" bushes or 22 x 3/4" with 22 x 15 reducing sets.

Hoorah!! Sorry I never got to reply to your post - was at work
