The exhaust light is staying lit on my X plate Zafira,reading the book it says it could be a fault with the emissions,is it alright to drive, the guy that I deal with is away on holiday.Should add it will be only for shortish journey's.

try this may not work does on some vauxhalls
hold brake and accelerator to the floor
put ignition on so dash lights up but not start
the light may then flash at you just count the flashes and gaps
ie 10 -3-10-10 then in that case search P0300

sounds like a lambda sensor problem, see if you can get the fault codes read asap
