Should I change my Danfoss thermostat?

My Danfoss thermostat controls the central heating boiler. I can set the room temperature with it.

It does work, but it tends to arc quite often.

There should be no arcing - surely. Should be a quick make and break.

Can anyone recommend a wall mounted hand adjustable thermostat that is darn good at NOT arcing?

Thanks. Rich

It's time maybe spent, could well be just a case of wear and tear.
Nothing wrong with the make, but the option is yours.
If the switch contacts are accessible, might be worth giving them a little bit of a clean.
Off course isolate first.
