It is a curious irony that these imported wage slaves from collapsed "communist" countries are contributing to the demise of the capitalist system and thus creating the very economic environment for the proletariat to rise and true Marxist states to emerge.

That's rather a profound statement for GD - he's right though.

I never said £40k Joe.
You need to stop paying the Brit the £20k in benefits then the Brit workers (or should that be "bludger") will come to us.
Then no need for the foreigner.
Simples.

No they are contributing to its survival. A small minority are milking the system.

But he has a mortgage to pay because Gordon Brown made everyone borrow 5 times their salary instead of instructing the banks to keep to the 2.5 times salary limit. Houses would be half the price if he had and Brits could survive on minimum wage. They can't do that now. Take a job with your company and they lose their home. What would you do?

If I was in that position then I'd probably milk the system until the "Must do" master arrived.

And that's what they are doing - they have no choice. When it all collapses, as collapse it must. It'll be rebuilt and we'll live in a very different world.

Hard or soft landing? if it collapses as you say then lets just suppose everyone is on £30k they have borrowed 5x that so they are in the mire to the tune of £150k it collapses the banks or building society's grab the houses back then try to sell them again at what price?

You've summed that up spot on. I don't know what will happen.

Just been reading the figures and I think I need to go on the rock and roll,I'd get a bliddy good pay rise.

More to the point - to whom are they going to sell? They could keep the stock and rent it out - presumably to the newly homeless people that the state will pay for.

Or the state itself will pick up the stock and borrow the capital to purchase them, and thus "rent" them out as social housing to the newly homeless

Or possibly foreign investors.

What they are not going to do is sell them at a loss for pre-new-labour boosted prices

For the state to pay we would have to increase borrowing 4 fold and by that time our credit rating would be 'junk' status. Who would lend money to the UK knowing that it will never be paid back? And even if there was a lender the interest rates would be credit card interest rates. Sorry folks - but when it crashes it'll make the 30s look like the good times.

Well past governments have all but sold the very heart and soul of the UK to "Foreign Investors". They might as well sell the whole lot off. The UK is practically owned by Europe now. All we need is for Labour to get back in and finish the job.

But will it crash Joe,we don't have the ability to pay our debt now,but because and only because the Eurozone is in such trouble is the borrowing cost so low.

As Europe goes down so will we see the sun setting on the Western economies. We will all go down together. When it is rebuilt it will be the East that is King.
