replacing spaghetti junction plumbing!

i want to replace this:





with this:





this kit has 2 x outlets for domestic appliance waste which i need. do you reckon this kit will do the trick and, if yes, do you have any pointers (things i need to take into account) to ensure water flows out the main waste properly? there doesn't appear to be that much space (height wise) from main waste exit pipe in the wall and underside of sink unit, will i be okay?

also, looking at the main exit pipe on the kit, it looks as though i'll need to add additional piping to get it to reach the waste pipe in the wall? what's the best way to achieve that?

That's the right piece of kit.
You appear to have an uphill section between the trap on the left and the 2 solvent weld elbows on the right, which should be put right, but that looks like you may have to replace the bit that goes through the wall to fix that.

Or core drill a new hole through the wall in a more convenient position and re-pipe the outside bit. Maybe. More work though.

Sure is! Wonder if whoever fitted that was left with 2 spigots and a bit of bendy pipe and thought, "That must go on here...".

in my defence it's not my work, honest! it's in my btl property and the tenants told me the engineer (annual check) had an apprentice with him and basically he said to the apprentice along lines of 'take a good look, this is exactly NOT how a sink should be plumbed!'

sorry for my nievity but can i cut the pipe that goes into the wall (see dotted line in pic below) assuming it leaves 2-3 inches behind it, take all the old stuff off, start from scratch and ultimately connect my new stuff to the old remaining section of pipe that goes into the wall?

I'd use a compression elbow at the bit where you're going to cut - will allow to get everything properly lined up without the one-chance-only finality of a solvent welded joint.

Would bet those sink wastes stink the kitchen out what with the way the WM/DW wastes have been plumbed , is there not any decent plumbers left out there? , this is all I see on a day to day basis , shocking state of affairs.

Don't even think of using that double outlet contraption you've posted , it wouldn't of been allowed years ago so don't see why it should be now , no wonder these kitchen sinks stink after a few months of use , no amount of bleach will get rid of the smell , jeez the building inspector frowned upon us if we mentioned the word 'extension trap'. let alone these 'easy to install for monkey' type wastes/traps , whenever these are supplied with sinks I throw em in the skip.

bearing in mind i'm not a qualified plumber, what's the best way to connect the 2 x appliance waste pipes then? dyno-rod quoted £200 (via british gas, part of that company now?) to complete the works but i need to save £££ where i can so would rather do it myself.

£200 is cheap for a 'proper' job , although I doubt you will get a good job done with regard to the monkey outfits you've posted.

£200? take your pictures to a small diy shop and get a pushfit setup, he'll tell you what you need, be about £40 at tops.
