Anyone fitted these? We've a job coming up & I was thinking about trying one. What are they like?
Thanks
Tricky Dickie

Do you mean the Czech made jobbie that burns both logs and pellets?

If so I sent them an email direct and they referred me to their UK importer, I emailed them and got no response so I'll be contacting Czech again shortly... They are available through a Polish wholsaler at a very nice price. They did say that they had no intention of submitting them for the RHI scheme but at the price that they are I wouldn't be too worried.

Let us know how you get on im looking to fit an intergas myself at some point ad they look pretty good. Ive no idea how much they cost mind i think they have a seperate heating out for towel rails.

Oops, it seems that the Atmos that T2 is asking about is a gas boiler not a pellet boiler.....My mistake

As long as you understand the performance specs they are excellent. Had one in my last house with full weather comp.

Towel rail/buffer tank circuit very handy.

low voltage only call for heat, but accepts OT IIRC.

System needs to be spotless.

Otherwise it is a simple boiler.

On special offer at the moment too.

Dans the man to speak to, are you still not allowed in the CC?

Yes, Micky I am. I was fairly voted out as a result of my charm, help & guidance towards the CC/CCCs, these rsoles ganged up with the CPSs to exclude me.............Not that I'm bitter...........

Thanks for your help son.

That's OK mate I made a mistake once.
Your time was not wasted, I didn't know they did pellet boilers.

Performance specs? Can you please clarify - are you referring to the Hot Water performance??
Thanks Dan

Yep... some people stick them in places that need more water and wonder what's wrong.

However.

They are now end of line. No more are available although a new alternative is coming out soon.

A bit annoyed as I had a job pre booked that was to fit one in a loft. Now I have the embarrassing prospect of telling the client. Only found out myself this morning :(.

Shame really as they were cracking boilers, but IMHO the 50 litre variant available in Holland would have been a better bet for the UK market. I think Atmos had trouble selling enough to keep the price honest (economies of scale and all that jazz).

I think that it is a completely different Atmos... The pellet boilers and log gassifiers are made in the Czech Republic.... A guy here posted a link to their website a few weeks ago and on the face of it they seemed to be a nice piece of kit.... Most interesting is the boiler that will burn either logs or pellets, great for those customers who cannot make their minds up

Dick. If you are looking to future, it is worth checking back - it might only be a temporary withdrawal whilst they look at alternatives within the same range.

The Pellet burner one is interesting- that website is on my reading list of things to look into.

Ah, thanks for the heads up Dan.

Dont forget that we did invite you to the Intergas training day last May. They are of course the makers of the Atmos badged varient of the boiler.

Although we asked a few searching questions about the relationship we only received slightly evasive answers.

Tony
