We should have put an end to this a long time ago.
The western world (or at least the sensible members of it) is made to feel guilty for not embracing these people.

Still ....... look on the bright side........ I'll be dead soon and will no longer have to watch the world domination that's on the cards.

Edit. Burning poppies and British flags in this country are perfectly acceptable though. :rolleyes:

The real irony is that atheists are united by a singular common belief which has no "our version is better than yours and so you must die" twist to it.
 
Another point i'm puzzled by.

When a simple burning of a paperback occurs, how can thousands of people suddenly get together to go rioting and killing????
I'm talking logistics.

What I mean is........... Is it a DOWN TOOLS situation as far as work goes???
Do they not think about the loss of productivity in the making of prayer mats and sandals????. Are the employers all for it?????. Payed leave????

What was it all about? If anything western intervention has strengthened the Taliban. Just look at Pakistan.
And trillions wasted by western governments and thousands dead. All for nothing.

The moral of the story should be.... in future, don't p*ssy foot about with these lunatics.

But anyway... I was just making a point about the logistics and lunacy of it.

If people of this country suddenly heard the news that a copy of the TV Times was burned, somewhere near Bolton, would we all take to the streets and kill people???? NO.
Better things to do like earn a living, bring up our children and be a decent human being.

These people are lunatics.

Everybody knows that that part of the world is a little backwards. They aren't educated in the way we in the west are and there society is hundreds of years behind us. I'm not defending their reaction at all, but surely the yanks should take a bit of care sometimes, especially seeing as they're in their country. Burning the koran, however ridiculous the reaction has been, is just asking for trouble. Why is it that it's only ever the yanks that do things like this? They really don't help themselves sometimes. Just like the way they're far too trigger happy. We ask questions first then shoot whereas the yanks shoot first them ask questions later!


Hopefully in a few hundred years once the rest of the world has caught up to us in the west in terms of education & living standards religion will be banished to history.

Anyway, it's time we got out of that hell hole. What a waste of money and lives it has been. Did anybody seriously think we could turn it into some sort of western style democracy? What a shame so many young lads have lost their lives out there. And for what?
