hi i plan to dot dab some platerboard on a wall in my bathroon as i have taken it back to bare brick.its on the bath wall where the shower will go,whats the best type of board to use as its in a wet area??
is it ok to tile straight onto the board when its fully set or do i have to tape joints/paint with pva or any thing else??
any advice would be a great help thanks

the green stuff mate and you will need to tank any wet area's or you could use aquapanel and tile straight on it but personly i would put some proper fixings through it aswell as the dot and dab

is aquapanel something i can get from wickes or b&q??
i assume this gets stuck to the wall then its ok to tile direct to it without the need to tank???
