Hi,

I am having a wall pebbledashed. The guy doing it doesn't know what quantity is needed - his boss would normally order it, and he just does the work (This is a private job).

The wall is 2.6m x 5.8m, and we are using 6mm dashing stones.

Thanks!
Tim

Oh, and the quarry provides the stones by weight, not by the bag, so if anyone can answer in tonnes it would be great!

Thanks

It's not tonnes you need. Why can't you source them in 25kg bags?
You would need no more than 6 bags if you are catching the chips.
So 150kg

Thanks for the info, the quarry advised me I needed 1.25 tonnes, I suspect they mean 0.25 tonnes, and that's being generous!

To be safe, I will get 200KG I think :)

Yeah that will be more than enough.
Just out of interest, what kind of chips are you using?
