Hello all,

Is there a piece of kit that you can buy that does everything you need as a electrician?

I.e rcd tests, insulation, loops tests etc?

Thanks in advance.

"Multi Function Tester" is about the best you can get and does a range of required tests

Not bad.

In view of your recent post you may want to consider the 1730 which includes an earth electrode test facility. Dearer of course.

Never used one of those but it looks in good condition.

Seller seems genuine.

As BAS says - ask for it to be calibrated and you will add £100 to the price.

Make that saving next year, getting them to get it calibrated, is a bit like asking for a new MOT to be put on a car you are buying, it adds confidence that you are not being sold a pup.

Accutest pick mine up every year £35.00 and deliver back.
City elec hold instrument days by manuf where you can see latest kit. check local branches for details £30.00
You may need to consider vat. if your not vat registered.

Unfortunately looks as if you may need an account to get trade prices. I would give em a call.
